MAKESHIFT GALLERY

In December 2022, I, along with a group of artist friends, opened a month-long
popup gallery for the holidays, on Main St. in Ann Arbor, called MAKESHIFT GALLERY.
We enjoyed it so much that we decided to do it again the following December!
We found a storefront on Liberty St. and reopened at the end of 2023,
but this time, we kept it going though the end of 2025.
Though we are currently closed, we are planning to relocate. We're working on a new site in an alley right around the corner and hope to reopen some time in late spring 2026. We're also changing our name (aptly I must say),
to: THE ALLEY GALLERY
We'll continue to offer our diverse selection of art by local area artists, and
our successful "Sunday Salons", featuring more artist demos, more workshops, poetry and
play readings, and live musical events.
